THE Turkish Regional Meeting of Student Branches in Istanbul was co-organised by Dogus University Student Branch, IEEE-TR CAS Chapter and the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department (ECED) on 17 March.
More than 150 IEEE student members from 18 different universities attended the meeting. Elif Çepni, the Rector of Dogus University, gave the opening speech and İzzet Cem Göknar, head of Dogus University ECED, attended the meeting with his speech about the history of IEEE and achievements of the Circuits and Systems Society. Levent Sevgi offered his autographed books to IEEE student volunteers.
Mert Karaosmanoglu, the chair of Dogus University Student Branch, indicated that the meeting was one of the most beneficial in Turkey.
